Two days after announcing that he would visit Kansas again, President Donald Trump’s return trip to the Sunflower State has been scrapped.

Trump was scheduled to hold a rally in Salina, Kansas, on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Salina Regional Airport.

The Salina Regional Airport Authority confirmed to KMBC 9 News on Thursday that the visit has been canceled.

A spokesperson for the organization said the Trump Administration has canceled all Kansas events for Saturday.

No reason for the cancellation was provided.

This was scheduled to be his second trip to the state in less than two weeks as Republicans make one last push to keep Kansas’ U.S. Senate seat in GOP hands.

Republican Sen. Roger Marshall is in a tight race against Democrat Adam Hamilton, drawing national attention to a state that has traditionally been a Republican stronghold.

Trump was just in the Wichita area on Oct. 19, where he rallied supporters behind Marshall.
