A victim in a deadly crash in Spartanburg County has been identified days after the incident.

A victim in a deadly crash in Spartanburg County has been identified, according to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office.According to troopers, the crash happened before 7:45 a.m. Friday on Highway 9 near Brannon Circle.Troopers said that as an SUV turned out of Brannon Circle onto Highway 9, it was hit by a vehicle, causing the SUV to hit a third vehicle.Officials said 41-year-old Jose “Poncho” Ocampo, a passenger in the SUV, died after the crash. The coroner said he died from his injuries on scene.Several people from all three vehicles were also injured and taken to a hospital.
