Clark’s Nike deal was reported at up to $28 million over eight years and includes a signature shoe. Nike has not disclosed the contract’s financial terms, so that figure remains a reported estimate rather than an official company announcement.

The Caitlin 1 launched globally on Oct. 1 at $140. Nike CEO Elliott Hill called it the largest women’s signature shoe launch in the company’s history: it reached 5,000 stores, twice the average for a Nike Basketball signature launch. Nike also said its women’s signature basketball business grew nearly 500% from fiscal 2022 to fiscal 2026. Those figures show the scale of the investment, but Nike has not released Caitlin 1 unit sales or revenue.

How Caitlin 1 compares with Sabrina 4 and A’Two

Nike built the Caitlin 1 around Clark’s speed and shooting range. Its Opticast upper is designed to provide lightweight support, while a forefoot Air Zoom Turbo unit works with Cushlon foam. The design also includes stacked Swooshes, her CC logo, and C’s and 2s molded into the upper.

The Caitlin 1 is one shoe model with several colorways, not a series of different designs. Its first releases were Caitlin Blue and Warning Code, followed by the pink Midnight Fever and the Halloween-themed Jinx, which pairs a black upper with glow-in-the-dark green accents. Nike has said more colorways are on the way, each drawing on Clark’s style and story.

Sabrina Ionescu’s latest model is the Sabrina 4, which launched in July at $135. Its main new feature is a TPU FlyPlate inspired by sprint starts and adapted for basketball; Nike pairs it with Air Zoom cushioning. The line is now on its fourth model, while Caitlin’s signature series is just beginning.

A’ja Wilson’s newest shoe is the A’Two, released May 2 at $145. Nike describes it as a more responsive follow-up to her A’One, combining soft cushioning with Air Zoom. Its price is $5 above the Caitlin 1 and $10 above the Sabrina 4.

The three shoes reflect different priorities: the Caitlin 1 emphasizes speed and range, the Sabrina 4 focuses on quick cuts and acceleration, and the A’Two is designed around Wilson’s powerful, full-court game. Their U.S. launch prices are close, from $135 to $145, but the design details tell distinct stories about each player.

Nike has called the Caitlin 1 launch its largest for a women’s signature shoe, but that measures the launch’s reach not proof that it has outsold Sabrina’s or A’ja’s sneakers.
