The legendary Goodyear blimp will make a very noticeable appearance this weekend during the NASCAR Cup Series finale at the Homestead-Miami track.
Adorned with the colours of the fictional city of “Vice City” where the action of the video game GTA VI takes place (scheduled for release on November 19), the Goodyear blimp will fly over the Homestead-Miami Speedway, on the occasion of the grand final of the NASCAR Cup Series, this weekend.
The American tire manufacturer is thus riding the wave of popularity generated by the Rockstar Studios video game, which is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated of the decade, 13 years after the release of the fifth installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. The Goodyear blimp is one of the most iconic objects in motorsport, having graced the skies of numerous competitions for over 100 years.
