WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Photographer Melissa Dupuis was in the WECT digital studio to talk about her new exhibit, ‘Silent Caretakers’.
Dupuis said the collection represents life’s small things. It includes her photographs of birds, bees, flowers, trees, spiders and crabs, which were taken locally.
“Big things happen every day. Big things in our world, big things in our lives. But what I try to capture are the smaller things,” she said. “And I hope that people will appreciate that and see it.”
‘Silent Caretakers’ is on display through Nov. 21 at Intracoastal Realty on Front Street in downtown Wilmington. The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dupuis’ work is also at Gallery Citrine on Second Street year-round.
