Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza has been up for sale all summer, but no deals have been made.
That might have left just enough room for FC Barcelona to slide in and bring in the shifty 23-year-old per Bild’s Nico Linner (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Barcelona have been monitoring Bryan Zaragoza’s situation with interest for some time. The Spaniard is one of several options Barça are considering for the left wing alongside the likes of Díaz and Rashford. Zaragoza would be a cheaper alternative. Celta Vigo, Real Betis and Olympiacos are also interested.
Without much success in working out deals with Celta Vigo, Real Betis and Olympiacos, this could allow FC Barcelona to make a smart move. Barca will not need to rush Zaragoza, nor make him a starter immediately. The Catalans would be able to easily integrate him into the lineup at a comfortable pace.
Given that Zaragoza is expected to be a relatively inexpensive acquisition, this could be a move right up FC Barcelona’s alley.
