The expected signing of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement this year adds another layer, as many stars are set up to make moves and land better contracts.
There’s another twist coming: next season, the WNBA will add two new teams. Both will get a shot in the expansion draft, picking players from squads around the league — like the Golden State Valkyries did this year.
That means Chicago could lose Vandersloot to free agency, plus see other players headed to the expansion teams. For now, the only thing Sky fans can count on for next year is Angel Reese.
