LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Justin Bieber impersonator found himself in trouble over the weekend after deceiving staff at a Las Vegas hotel into believing he was the pop star, leading to an unexpected performance onstage in front of a packed crowd.
The incident occurred Saturday night at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Sources told TMZ, DJ Gryffin was informed that Bieber was in town and wanted to make a surprise appearance at XS Nightclub.
Believing the impersonator to be the real Justin Bieber, Gryffin invited him into the DJ booth.
The impersonator then took to the stage, performing several of Bieber’s hit songs.
However, the ruse was eventually uncovered by the Wynn staff, who promptly ended the imposter’s act and escorted him off the premises.
A rep for Wynn and XS Nightclub tells TMZ: “After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage. As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.”
