Latest Matter-ready Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) returns to Prime Day low at $219

We expected to see the best price ever land on the latest Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen), and that we very much did…but it is now back again to kick off the week. Amazon is offering the Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) starting from $218.99 shipped to match the Prime Day price and the best deal we have tracked from a major retailer in brand new condition. Be sure to clip the on-page coupon and then head below for more details.

Google’s latest intelligent HVAC controller carries a regular price at $280 shipped. We have seen it drop down to $240 a number of times since release, and even secured some exclusive price drops to the former $229 low previous to Prime Day. But last week ushered in the lowest price to date and we are getting another shot at it here today.

Google describes this model as its “most advanced thermostat yet,” making for “a beautiful, brilliant way to save energy, keep your home comfortable, and help make sure your heating and cooling systems are running smoothly.”

It landed last summer as the long awaited follow-up to the now previous-generation release, featuring a 60% larger display with Dynamic Farsight tech that has already been updated since launch. It, of course, is also designed to integrate into the rest of your smart home, work alongside various voice assistant platforms, and play nice with Matter-equipped gear – “control in the Google Home app: Adjust on your phone from anywhere or by using your voice with Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant smart speaker, it’s easy to install yourself and it’s Matter compatible for simple integration into your smart home.”

Still live: Latest Beats Solo Buds back to best price ever for Prime Day at $50 shipped (Nearly 40% off)

Joining the rest of the Prime DayBeats sale (details below), Amazon is bringing back all-time low prices on the latest Beats Solo Buds down at $49.99 shipped. Regularly $80, you’ll now find all of the standard colorways Amazon offers – Matte Black, Storm Gray, and Transparent Red – back at the lowest price we have tracked at there for Prime Day 2025.

The nearly 40% in savings we are seeing here during Prime Day is on par with the best we have tracked. Today’s deal is the first time we have seen them back down at $50 since January and the Black Friday offers before that, which also had them down at this same price.

There are some major earbuds deals floating around for Prime day this year, not the least of which is the massive $100 price drop on AirPods Pro 2 and the new all-time lows on AirPods 4 starting from $89. But the Beats Solo Buds do have a few things going for them alongside coming in at a fraction of the price at today’s deal.

The short-form takeaway from our hands-on review is that they are “one of the most intriguing new products from Beats in a long time,” landing with impressive onboard battery life – they feature 18 hours of action in the buds themselves. The case is not a charging case with a battery, but at $50 you’re getting 18 hours of straight listening time without even needing to worry about dropping them back in the case to juice up anyway.

Alongside the ultra-compact case here, you’ll also find compatibility for iOS and Android devices with “seamless one-touch pairing,” the usual “industry-leading” Class 1 Bluetooth for fewer dropouts, and custom-designed microphones with “advanced noise-learning algorithm for exceptional call quality,”
