British tennis star and current world number five Jack Draper has signed a “transformative” multi year deal with Vuori as the US athleisure brand makes a major push into the sport.

As part of the deal, Draper (previously a Nike athlete) will develop a signature line with Vuori but in the meantime will be wearing the brand at the US Open, which kicks off in New York with the mixed doubles tournament today. In last year’s singles tournament, Draper reached the semi-final.

“Jack represents the next generation of tennis—bold, driven, and authentic,” said Joe Kudla, Founder and CEO of Vuori. “We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Vuori family.”

Surrey-born Draper turned pro in 2018 and picked up multiple titles on the Challenger tour. His big break came earlier this year when he won the Indian Wells trophy, considered in tennis circles to be the most prestigious trophy outside of the four Grand Slams of the US Open, French Open, Australian Open and Wimbledon.

With a powerful left-handed game, he is considered to be one of the few men on the tennis tour who can challenge the dominance of Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz at the top of the sport.

Off court he is known for his philanthropic work as an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society and, earlier this year, British luxury house Burberry signed him as an ambassador.

On court he is known for his strong sense of personal style, often preferring bright colours and over-sized looks, while also experimenting with his hairstyles.

“For me, style is about how you carry yourself, what you wear, and owning who you are without hesitation,” Draper said. “As I’ve grown up, I’ve really embraced style as a form of self-expression, and whether it’s shaving my head or trying something bold, I just go for it. That’s why collaborating with Vuori is so exciting. It’s a chance to create something innovative, performance-driven, and authentic, with no compromises.”

The signing of Draper is a major statement of intent from California-based Vuori when it comes to both tennis and its quest for global recognition. The brand was founded by Kudla in 2015 from his garage/office and has grown to become an international brand with a presence in 18 countries.
