MUNCIE, Ind. – The reigning Mid-American Conference regular season and tournament champion Ball State women’s basketball team has revealed its 2025-26 non-conference schedule. The announcement was made Tuesday, Aug. 19 by 14th-year head coach Brady Sallee.

The Cardinals will tip-off the season with an exhibition game in Worthen Arena on Oct. 29 against IU East at 6:30 pm ET.

Ball State’s regular season opener will be on the road as part of the third-annual Mid-American Conference Sun Belt Challenge as the Cardinals travel to Arkansas State on Nov. 3. Ball State remains on the road for its next contest when it heads south on I-69 to play in-state rival IU Indy (Nov. 9).

The Cardinals highly anticipated home opener will be a contest against Northern Kentucky on Nov. 12, before Ball State hits the road again for a game versus Memphis (Nov. 15).

Ball State will then welcome Cincinnati (Nov. 20) and Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 24) prior to Thanksgiving break where the Cardinals will compete at a neutral site tournament in Naples, Fla. (Nov. 28-29).

After that, Ball State opens the month of December with a contest against Oakland City (Dec. 3) before closing out non-conference play at Davidson (Dec. 7), at Louisville (Dec. 10) and at South Dakota State (Dec. 14).

Just like in years past, Sallee and his staff have put together a challenging non-conference schedule which features four teams that competed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament; Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Louisville and South Dakota State.

The Mid-American Conference schedule is set to be released Thursday, August 21, at 11 am ET.
