Martinsville Speedway will continue to host two NASCAR race weekends in the spring and fall of 2026, with the fall race once again playing a key role in the NASCAR Playoffs, acting as the final race before Championship.

The spring NASCAR race weekend will take place on March 28-29, 2026, while next year’s fall Playoffs race weekend will be on Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, 2026.

Spring Race Weekend

The Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway this past spring saw a dominating run from Denny Hamlin, with the Virginia native securing his first of four wins in the 2025 Cup Series season. Hamlin pulled away toward the end of the final stage to beat Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell by a margin of 4.617 seconds.

Fans can witness all the intensity short-track racing at Martinsville Speedway this fall in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs race weekend, as drivers in all three NASCAR national series compete for the final chance to race their way into the Championship 4.

The weekend will feature the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs races on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, with drivers from the Cup Series rounding out the weekend on Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Xfinity 500. Fans can also catch the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Championship on Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300, followed by the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup.
