The Verstärkt den sytainics MBC team is located in Bundesliga, Germany, and competes in the European North Basketball League. The season is set to kick off on Aug. 31.
This move marks a significant achievement for Jackson, who concluded her collegiate career with a standout year for Troy.
“When I recruited Brianna, she told me that she dreamed of making her last year of college basketball her best season,” said head coach Chanda Rigby. “Brianna’s story is a tremendous example of what is possible when a student-athlete comes to Troy and takes advantage of all the resources that are available here.
“She is leaving Troy with her hopes and dreams realized. I couldn’t be more proud.”
Jackson certainly delivered, setting career highs across the board and playing a pivotal role in Troy’s impressive runner-up finish in the WNIT. Her impact on the court was hard to ignore, as she capped her six-year college career off in style as a Trojan.
Jackson’s shot-blocking ability is among the best in Troy women’s basketball history, recording at least one block in 23 of 30 games, placing her in elite company. Her six blocks in Troy’s season-opener against Buffalo were the most in a single game since Janeen Camp had eight in 2022.
Offensively, she was a consistent bucket, scoring in double figures in 17 of the last 20 games and leading the team in scoring on eight occasions. Jackson scored 10-plus points in six straight games during Sun Belt Conference play.
Her high motor play didn’t slow down when she got to the WNIT — Jackson still played high-level basketball no matter the stage. She notched double figure scoring in every game of Troy’s run.
Jackson consistently scored in the double-digits and put on strong rebounding performances, including a dominant 14-point, 14 rebound game against North Dakota State in the Great 8.
She ended her collegiate career with a 10 point, 9 rebound effort in her final game as a Trojan.
