Lenox — Three men from Springfield were arrested by the Lenox Police Department for a breaking and entering incident on Saturday, Aug. 23.

According to a press release issues by Chief of Police Stephen O’Brien, at 2:59 a.m. Officers Tyler Bosworth and Dominic Bartini were dispatched to an alarm activated at North’s Services, 515 Pittsfield Road.

While travelling to the motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle store, Officer Bosworth observed a pick up truck fleeing from the scene with four motorcycles in the truck’s bed.

The truck was heading southbound on Pittsfield Road, and the officers made an attempt to stop it.

The truck fled and proceeded to head south down Routes 7 and 20, then east on Route 20 before entering onto the state turnpike, heading Route 90 eastbound.

Police agencies were notified of the pursuit, and the State Police deployed a tire deflation device at the 38 mile marker of Route 90.

After the vehicle came to a stop, the five men fled from the truck.

The police arrested three of the five people in the truck, while the remaining two remain unidentified. 

The three were taken back to the Lenox Police Department for Processing.

Each person arrested was charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit a felony, larceny over $1,200, and larceny from a building.

Arrested were: Steven Yariel Perales-Gonzalez, Aiden Street, Springfield;

Izmael Morales, Plumbtree Road, Springfield;

Elijah Carter, 17 Cambridge, Springfield.

Each person who was arrested was held on $10,000 cash bail. Two of the three prisoners were transported to the Berkshire County House of Correction, while a third prisoner awaits bail at the Lenox Police Department.
