Lower Saucon Authority announces water outages due to water main break, Boil Water Advisory anticipated | Northampton County

LOW. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Water services are being shut off in part of Lower Saucon Township due to a water main break, according to the Lower Saucon Authority. 

Officials said that around 3:00 p.m., a water main break occurred at the intersection of Route 412 and Springtown Hill Road. This has caused water outages to Springtown Hill Road, Penrose Street, and Pearson Avenue. 

Lower Saucon Authority says that as of 4:20 p.m., the water service to the area will have to be shut off in order to repair the break. 

When service is restored, there will be a Boil Water Advisory in place, according to officials.
