GALION, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Galion Public Library is set to host a busy month of community events in September, with special programs and displays centered around Banned Books Week and Library Card Sign-Up Month.
The library will feature several displays with an “Orwellian makeover” and a theme of “censorship is SO 1984” to promote Banned Books Week, which runs from September 17 to October 13. Activities associated with the displays offer a chance for visitors to win prizes from the new Adult Services Treasure Chest. The library will also showcase a display featuring the top most challenged and banned books of 2024.
