Hi, Nicola! What’s coming up for your character on Emmerdale?
“I’m about to start filming more stuff with Bradley Riches [aka Lewis] at the café. Bradley’s an absolute dream. I love that Nicola’s this cantankerous old cow, and he’s this sweet, young, pretty male, but it all works.”
What would you like to see for Nicola and Lewis?
“We’ve been asking when we are getting a makeover at the café interior! Get all your readers to write in. Everybody who comes in says, ‘Have you seen your prices? They look like they were set, like, 15 years ago!’”

Who would you like to join them behind the counter?
“Lydia would be fun. Nicola would bully her, but Lydia would only take it for so long before putting her in her place!”
Speaking of bossing around, how is Nicola’s relationship with Jimmy these days?
“I did have a line recently about his weird cardigan that made him look like Val Doonican, which made me laugh. However, there is going to be trouble coming up, caused by one of their children. That’s a little teaser for you!”
