Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse’s most recent testing for lead in its drinking water yielded its lowest mark since 2018. At 9 parts per billion, results from the first half of 2025 put the city’s lead level below the current federal standard of 15 and a future standard of 10.
But that does not mean everyone’s water is safe to drink at any time.
