CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA) will extend viewing hours during the final week of the epic exhibition, “Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow.”
The exhibition will be stay open until 9 p.m. from Tuesday, Sept. 2 – Friday, Sept. 5, and on the show’s closing date, Sunday, Sept. 7.
Guests attending the Sept. 5 MIX: 90s Homecoming can also visit the exhibition during the event. CMA’s permanent collection galleries, café and restaurant will close at their regularly scheduled times.
An expanded exhibition of one of the world’s most celebrated contemporary artists, “Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow” is featuring more than 100 works, interventions based on the CMA’s world-renowned collection and a stunning Japanese Dream Hall in the CMA’s Ames Family Atrium.
The exhibition has been delighting audiences since opening in May. For art aficionados and curious onlookers, the dizzying array of color, technique and expression has made this as must-see affair.
The exhibition is not expected to be held over, so this is the last chance for procrastinators to step on the tail of this rainbow.
