Kids make life much more exciting — and vacations much more stressful. The logistics of bringing all the baby stuff, car seats, snacks, and toddler entertainment is a lot, plus the struggle of finding kid-appropriate places to go. It’s worth it, definitely. But it’s not easy. It makes it even more impressive that Drew Scott and Linda Phan brought their kids Parker, 3, and Piper, 1, on a whirlwind European vacation. With their helpful tips (and help from grandparents!), the trip looked like it was something out of a fairytale.
“Highlights from our Europe trip!” the Property Brothers star captioned a new video on Instagram. “The kids were troopers, the views were unreal, and I’m still dreaming about that chocolate fountain 🤤”

The highlight reel includes moments from the different countries the couple visited and how they made them toddler-friendly. “Linda and I just spent two weeks in Scotland, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland with our parents and two toddlers,” Scott says in the clip. Adorable moments show Parker and Piper walking hand-in-hand with various grandparents as they look at birds, mountains, and other gorgeous sights.
“It was the perfect blend of history, nature, and city exploring,” Scott continues in his voice-over. They visited Neuschwanstein Castle in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, which served as the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.
“Traveling with kids across multiple countries, definitely takes a lot of planning,” he continues, sharing Piper walking toward her travel crib and riding in her car seat-stroller travel system. Scott also shared clips from a family-friendly hotel they stayed at in Italy, where Parker got to go horseback riding. He wore a little helmet on a pony as an instructor led the horse by the reins and looked so adorable. It also has waterslides, which Scott slid down with Piper in his lap.
His final tip? Visiting the WOW Museum and the Lindt Museum, both in Zurich, where the kids got to see optical illusions and check out a giant chocolate fountain like something from Charlie and the Charlie Factory.
Earlier this month, Scott shared photos of the Europe trip, including Parker and Piper looking colorful and cute in their tartan outfits. At one point, Parker even wore a kilt! “Family trip with ages 1-91. Scotland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland. We had the most amazing experiences with the kiddos. Now I sleep,” he captioned the photos.
This family always seems to have fun, whether they are traveling the world or making silly videos at home together. Parker and Piper hit the parent jackpot!
