Charlie Cummings gives his top DraftKings WNBA Pick6 plays and projections for the four-game WNBA slate on Saturday, August 30th.

WNBA action on Saturday will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball.

This article will examine my top WNBA Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage ready, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA Pick6 slate.

Napheesa Collier More Than 22.5 Points Scored

The MVPhee has returned to action. After a seven-game absence, Napheesa Collier returns to push the Lynx across the finish line for the No. 1 seed and put a bow on her MVP campaign. Naturally, she hit the ground running in her return.

Her second game back was a different story. Against the Seattle Storm, Phee shot an uncharacteristic 7-of-23 from the field, scoring only 18 points. Very suspicious use of the word “only.” However, Seattle has a seemingly endless group of defenders, including rookie Dominique Malonga, who has held Collier to the lowest field goal percentage of any individual defender this season. The Connecticut Sun are not the same. Expect Napheesa to get back on track in this one.

Sonia Citron Less Than 14.5 Points Scored

It’s been an excellent season for Sonia Citron. The rookie made the All-Star team on the back of her sharp shooting, on-ball scoring, and defensive hustle. Being in shouting distance of a 50/40/90 season as a rookie is incredible stuff. But this is going to be a difficult matchup. Scoring guards go to die in Ballhalla against the Valkyries.

Citron can fill up the score in a hurry, but head coach Natalie Nakase has constructed a defense designed to contain players of her ilk. They allow the most three-point attempts per game, while conceding the third-lowest three-point percentage in the league. The Valkyries thrive at funneling shots to the worst shooters on the floor. Citron won’t get the looks she wants and will be frustrated all night. Plan accordingly.

Alyssa Thomas More Than 34.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

This one is simple enough. Alyssa Thomas has been crushing all August long, recording six triple-doubles. She’s recorded 30+ points, rebounds, and assists in 11 straight games, averaging 15.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 9.8 assists. It’s one of the most prolific stat-stuffing stretches we’ve ever seen.

This Liberty defense is excellent, but that also means a higher level of engagement is required to manage the pressure. AT always steps up when they need her the most.
