Madonna’s oldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, is following in her mom’s footsteps with a slight twist.
On Aug. 29, Leon was seen performing with her backing band in Ibiza, Spain, and she looked like her mom’s twin. Wearing an all-black ensemble and her long dark locks cascading down the length of her back, this could have been a snapshot of Madonna early in her career. (You can see the photo here.)
Even though Leon loves the music scene, she is going under another name to perform: Lolahol. She’s been using that stage name over the last few years, but a lot of fans are still learning about her alter ego as a performer.

In September 2023, Leon told Vogue España what she was trying to evoke through her music.
“[I try] to encompass the experience of that world of dance that comes to meet you when you are out partying and immerse yourself in that clubbing culture,” she explained. “That’s what I want to bring to the stage. My dancers and I are trying to create a joyful atmosphere through the choreography and the music that accompanies it so that the performance is relaxed as well as cool.”
Early on in her career, she listened to her mother’s advice about diving into the entertainment industry.
“She’s very much like, ‘Proceed with caution and think about what you want to be known for,’” Leon told Interview in 2021. “My mom is very insistent on making me think about what I want to be known for beyond my looks. That’s not what I want people to remember me by. It’s not real.”
And mom is quite proud of her daughter’s talents. “I’m green with envy because she’s incredible at everything she does – she’s an incredible dancer, she’s a great actress, she plays the piano beautifully, she’s way better than me in the talent department,” Madonna told British Vogue in 2019.
The 28-year-old model and musician is the daughter of the Material Girl and actor Carlos Leon.
