Sgt. Andrew Battenfield with UHP said a single vehicle got on Interstate 15 southbound at exit 5 in the northbound lanes.

Battenfield said the driver crashed into a 2019 Toyota Highlander head-on and died on the scene. The Department of Public Safety said the driver was a 90-year-old female.

DPS said the Toyota had four occupants, with the female driver and a male front-seat passenger who both died at the scene.

“Two females in the back seat were transported by air to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” DPS said. “Both females are in their late teens to early 20s.”
