LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – Attorneys for Republican Congressman Cory Mills are withdrawing a motion to appear virtually for a hearing scheduled for Friday. Court officials confirm the dating violence injunction hearing will be in-person.
Miss United States Lindsey Langston is accusing Mills of threatening to release sexually explicit images and videos of her.
Friday’s court hearing is scheduled in Columbia County, which will be the final disposition of Langston’s request for a protective order against Mills.
In addition to the civil action, Langston filed a criminal complaint against Mills with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation was transferred to the FDLE. No charges have been filed as of this report.
