A pair of Kansas State basketball recruiting prospects revealed themselves after the fall evaluation period for coaches began this week.

Adam Oumiddoch, a four-star shooting guard ranked as the No. 46 high school senior by the 247Sports Composite, will be seen by Wildcats coach Jerome Tang on Thursday, according to Stockrisers recruiting reporter Jake Weingarten.

Oumiddoch, who plays for Overtime Elite in Atlanta, said he received an offer from the Wildcats in October 2023. He averaged 17.1 points and 5.1 rebounds last season.

In a May interview with Zagsblog, Oumiddoch specified Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma State and Villanova as the schools that were most involved in his recruitment.

Kansas State offers Xavier Young

A new name emerged Thursday morning when a highly touted 2028 prospect announced he’s received an offer from the Wildcats.

Xavier Young, a 6-foot-10 center, posted on X that he received an offer from Kansas State. He attends Family Faith Academy of Oak Cliff in Texas and is considered the top prospect in the state.

ESPN’s early Top 25 of the top 2028 prospects ranks Young as a four-star prospect and the No. 16 prospect in the class. He also holds offers from Arizona State, Nebraska, Mississippi State, SMU and others.
