Texas Tech basketball finalized a second non-conference game in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 2025.
On Friday, the Red Raiders announced the “Revocruit Rematch” set for 11 a.m. on Dec. 13 at American Airlines Center. Tech previously finalized a matchup against LSU at Dickies Arena as part of the US LBM Coast to Coast Challenge for Dec. 7.
“We’re looking forward to returning to downtown Dallas and matching up against Arkansas,” stated Grant McCasland, Texas Tech head coach, in the release. “This is a historic series that dates back to the 1940s and always proves to be a great game. I’m excited to play in front of our fanbase at American Airlines Center and to renew the rivalry.”
From 1956 to 1991, the two programs matched up annually as members of the Southwest Conference. The Red Raiders lead the all-time series, 41-40, dating back to 1942.
