LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – The Webb County Sherrif’s office has been able to report findings from a recent arrest.
On Saturday, August 30, 2025, at around 10:25 AM, the Webb County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Bob Bullock Loop and FM 1472 due to expired buyer’s tags.
During the interaction, Sheriff Deputies were unable to properly identify the two individuals in the vehicle, as they did not possess any identification. The United States Border Patrol was contacted for assistance in identifying the two male subjects.
Throughout the investigation, the males were correctly identified as Jose Guillermo Torres Garcia and Miguel Locayo. Both individuals have a history of multiple arrests, including drug-related offenses and evading arrest and both admitted to being in the United States illegally.
Sheriff Martin Cuellar expressed pride in his deputies for their efforts on the roadways and thanked Border Patrol for their assistance.
“We remain diligent with our traffic stops to ensure the safety of the motoring public,” stated Cuellar.
