Part of Johnston County is under a boil water advisory as of Sunday morning.
A major water main leak and repair on U.S. Highway 701 caused some people to lose water, according to the town of Four Oaks.
Customers in the areas of U.S. 701, Health Road and Boyette Road who have low pressure or completely lost water should not drink the water or use it for cooking unless it is boiled for at least a full minute before use.
Customers in the Ingrams, Meadow and Southeast Lowgrounds water districts should receive a call from the county utilities department when the water is all clear.
