WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Section deputies believe they have located a suspect connected to the Sept. 7 homicide at an apartment complex in the 7100 block of W. Shade Lane.
Residents in this area are asked to evacuate or shelter in place as the investigation continues.
The Wichita-Sedgwick County SWAT Team has been activated. There will be a significant increase in law enforcement presence in the area. Community members to avoid the area until further notice.
