The city of Cape Coral will hold its first public budget hearing Thursday

“This is a crucial opportunity for public engagement, as the Fiscal Year 2026 budget outlines how the city will allocate taxpayer dollars for the upcoming year,” city officials said in a prepared statement.

The first Public Hearing will be held Sept. 11, at 5:05 p.m.

The tentative millage rate and budget will be established at this meeting.

The second Public Hearing will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at 5:05 p.m.

The final millage rate and budget will be set at this meeting.

The public hearings will take place in the Council Chambers on the second floor of Cape Coral City Hall, 1015 Cultural Park Blvd., Cape Coral.

The two public budget hearings will be live-streamed and accessible on multiple platforms:
