Baby animals have a way of cuddling their way into almost anyone’s heart, even when they’re doing nothing at all. Anyone who’s stared at a sleeping puppy or swooned at the sound of a kitten’s meow knows exactly what I mean. Babies don’t even have to try to be adorable—they just are!

By that logic, it’s no surprise that Beavers Bend Safari Park’s newest resident is gaining new fans left and right. She hasn’t even had any visitors from the public yet, but she’s already one popular baby sloth. Just think of the celebrity she’ll be when she’s ready for visitors at the safari park!

You’ll want to turn your volume up for this priceless video of Honey that Beavers Bend shared on September 8.

OMG, just listen to her! If Honey’s sweet face and huge eyes aren’t enough to lure you in, her darling little sounds will do the trick.

“Did you not hear her?” one viewer commented. “She said ‘nyeh.’ I don’t know what she wants, but give it to her.”

Dozens of other commenters also demanded that Honey gets what she wants, though most are convinced that she’s asking to be picked up. Who could ever say no to a sweet baby sloth like her?

I’m sure that Honey’s caretakers cuddled her as soon as they put the phone down, but nothing will compare to the day when she’s finally ready for visitors. Guests will be lining up around the Oklahoma safari park just to get a glimpse of this tiny diva!

Types of Sloths

Sloths are such new residents at Beavers Bend that they haven’t technically moved in yet! They’re still behind the scenes while getting used to their new home, but one question still remains: What type of sloth are they?

There are 6 main sloth species around the world, and they can be divided into two types: two-toed and three-toed. While Beavers Bend hasn’t announced the species of Honey and her friends, pausing this video at just the right time reveals two distinct toes on her front limbs.

Whatever species she is, there’s no question that she’s going to grow up into a sweet and fun sloth. Beavers Bend visitors are in for such a treat!
