Elon Musk called out Satya Nadella over the remarks of certain Blizzard employees on Charlie Kirk’s death.
Microsoft rushed into damage-control mode after Tesla CEO Elon Musk publicly tagged Satya Nadella, demanding answers over viral screenshots allegedly showing Blizzard employees mocking the late Charlie Kirk. The controversy erupted when posts attributed to staffers at Blizzard, the gaming giant owned by Microsoft, began circulating online, angering Kirk’s supporters who are still reeling from the conservative commentator’s killing at just 31. A mega-thread compiling the screenshots quickly spread on X.
Musk jumped in, asking, “What’s going on here?” Tagging Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella directly in a late-night post, Musk added, “These are Microsoft employees.”

In an X post shared on Friday, Microsoft asserted that it was taking the situation “very seriously”.
“We’re aware of the views expressed by a small subset of our employees regarding recent events,” the company said. “We take matters like this very seriously and we are currently reviewing each individual situation.”
Microsoft said, “Comments celebrating violence against anyone are unacceptable and do not align with our values.”
Charlie Kirk, who rose from a teenage conservative campus activist to a top podcaster and ally of US President Donald Trump, was shot and killed at the Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
