Now’s your chance to grab some Prime Day Meta Quest deals before the Amazon sales fest times out for the summer. Things are looking a little slimmer now that we’re on day four, but there are plenty of accessories, charging docks, and cables to choose from if you’re looking for peripherals.

The Prime Day gaming deals were pretty impressive last year, especially when it came to accessories for Meta Quest headsets. This week, though, we haven’t see much in the way of price reductions on the Meta Quest 3. However, we are seeing some offers land on the 3S already, which is great considering it only launched last October (when the last Prime-exclusive sale took place).

That said, Meta isn’t the only sheriff in town these days, and straight shooters like PSVR 2, HTC headsets, and the Pico 4 Ultra are holding big irons in terms of price. I’d be surprised if we didn’t see some of the best VR headsets on offer this summer. If you scroll down just below this, you’ll be able to see a list of deals I’ve already spotted. If you’d rather wait for better prices later this week as the event continues, I’ve also provided information below about the event’s duration, what to expect, and all you need to know about Prime memberships.

Prime Day Meta Quest deals – FAQ

Prime Day Meta Quest deals are now live as of July 8, and will run until July 11 at 12am local time. Based on the previous iterations of Prime Day I’ve covered, I’d say we can expect some notable deals throughout the four day event.

Usually, Prime Day Meta Quest deals aren’t Prime Exclusive, and competing retailers will usually run their own seasonal sales at the same time as Amazon. We did see some more accessory deals for the Quest 2 and 3 become Prime Exclusive, so if it’s those you seek, you might want to think about a Prime membership. If you play your cards right though, you could get around paying for it. Take out a free trial in the week or so before the event kicks off, get access to the benefits, and then cancel before you need to pay.

The Meta Quest 3 and 3S have now been on the shelves for a while, and yet the launch bundle that arrived to celebrate the Quest 3S is still kicking around. Getting a free copy of Batman Arkham Shadow along with either Quest 3 headset is quite the perk, and it was supposed to end in April of 2025. We’re in uncharted territory with it then, and it’s not clear whether it’ll continue into July, or it’ll be replaced by something else. After SGF, we now know a Deadpool VR game is in the works, and it’ll be the next big exclusive for Quest headsets.

Either way, you’d hope the Quest 3 and 3S will both see some discounts for this summer’s biggest sale.

If one thing is for sure, we’ll get plenty of discounts on all the third-party accessories for the Quest 3 and 3S. These are the bread and butter of a lot of Amazon’s Prime exclusive sales. Expect some of these to be limited-time, Prime-exclusive offers, since they have been in previous sales.

PSVR 2 has now received a permanent price drop, which makes it cheaper than the Quest 3 512GB. The recent Days of Play sale saw it decrease by a further $50 / £50, and so we may not see a repeated discount over Prime Day (which could be as soon as a month away). I’ve been noticing that the Quest 3S and PSVR 2 have been competing on prices a lot lately, so when one gets a discount, the other does too. It remains to be seen who will offer the better value for money this Prime Day, however.

The Pico 4 Ultra is also an excellent alternative to the Meta Quest 3 if you’re shopping in the UK. It could get a price drop over Prime Day to keep it competitively priced, although its price isn’t as affordable as the Quest 3S or PSVR 2, so I’d say consider it if you have the budget for a Quest 3 512GB.

Don’t forget we also have the upcoming (although unconfirmed) Valve Deckard to think about as well, which might be worth saving up for instead of a Prime Day Quest deal.
