PITTSBURGH —

FBI Pittsburgh said they’re searching for Donald Henson, a Penn Hills man who allegedly crashed a vehicle into the gate of the FBI building on the city’s South Side early Wednesday morning.

That crash happened at about 2:40 a.m.

Assistant Special Agent In Charge Christopher Giordano said no one was hurt.

Witnesses described the scary moments.

“I’m blown away right now,” said Nakeisha Brown, who works nearby.

Brown said she first heard the screeching of tires and then saw the aftermath of the crash as well as a man who got out of the vehicle.

“He got out and went around the passenger side and pulled something out of the passenger side. I thought it was a gun but it happened to be a flag and he just set it on that fence and started yelling out some words and just took off.”

Cierra Posey, who also works nearby, described the driver as being incoherent as he walked away from the scene.

“He just walked away like nothing happened,” added another nearby worker, Idez Columbie.

Agent Giordano later said this about the incident: “We look at this as an act of terror, against the FBI. This was a targeted attack on this building. Thankfully, no one was hurt.”

He asked that anyone who sees Henson or knows where he is to please contact police.
