The Health Law and Policy Program is pleased to announce the Debbie Gersh Health Privacy Fellowship. This new fellowship will afford students the opportunity to explore the intersection of privacy and health legal issues, including topics such as the use of AI in healthcare, patient rights, and standards for safeguarding health data to name a few. Our fellow for the 2025-2026 academic year is Margot Edinger.
“I am so proud to have Margot as the first fellow,” said Debbie Gersh. “She personifies the purpose for establishing the fellowship—her commitment to essential health care initiatives and the protection of privacy rights further supports and reflects the essential role GW Law School plays in these areas.”
