The Big Ten Conference unveiled its 2025-26 women’s basketball conference schedules Thursday, filling out the remainder of the Oregon Ducks’ upcoming slate.
The 2025-26 season marks Oregon’s second as members of the Big Ten. The Ducks went 20-12 in their first year, with head coach Kelly Graves’ squad posting a 10-8 record in conference. Oregon fell to Indiana in the opening-round of the 2025 Big Ten Tournament, but earned its first March Madness bid since 2022 nonetheless.
As a 10-seed, the Ducks pulled off a first-round upset of 7th-seeded Vanderbilt behind senior guards Peyton Scott and Deja Kelly’s combined 33 points. Oregon looked like it had another upset in the making against two-seed and seventh-ranked Duke, but were ultimately eliminated by the Blue Devils.
The Ducks lost their top-four scorers from the 2024-25 campaign — Kelly, Scott, Nani Falatea and Phillipina Kyei — but made big moves in the transfer portal. Former five-star guard Avary Cain came over from UCLA after a limited freshman season; and All-Mountain West first-team forward Mia Jacobs was added by way of Fresno State.
Oregon fans can get their first taste of the 2025-26 team on Oct. 30, when the Ducks face DII Western Oregon in an exhibition game at Matthew Knight Arena. Their regular-season slate begins Nov. 3, taking on West Georgia for the first of eight home non-conference games. Oregon’s 18-game Big Ten schedule begins Dec. 7 at Pauly Pavilion against reigning conference-champion UCLA.
Fourteen of Oregon’s upcoming opponents qualified for the 2025 NCAA tournament. Nine of them will make the trip to Matthew Knight Arena.
Oregon’s in-state rivalry with Oregon State also returns for the 2025-26 season. The Ducks and Beavers’ Dec. 3 matchup in Eugene is the first since Feb. 4, 2024; a 64-60 win by Oregon State.
