The lefty-loving co-hosts of ABC’s “The View’’ could be in the FCC’s crosshairs next.

The liberal daytime talk show featuring Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behr may be violating broadcast rules — and it would be “worthwhile to investigate it,  said Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr on Thursday.

Carr’s threat surfaced a day after late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was yanked off the air by the Disney-owned network for making inflammatory comments about the Charlie Kirk assassination.

The FCC chief questioned whether “The View’’ is a  “bona fide news show,” which would  exempt it from the FCC’s “equal time” regulation mandating broadcasters dole out the same time to politicians from different political parties.

“Potentially, I would assume you can make the argument that ‘The View’ is a bona fide news show, but I’m not so sure about that,” Carr said on “The Scott Jennings Show.”

“And I think it’s worthwhile to have the FCC look into whether ‘The View’ and some of these other programs that you have still qualify as bona fide news programs and therefore exempt from the equal opportunity regime that Congress has put in place,’’ he said.

The show’s talking heads have yet to address the Kimmel controversy on-air.

Data show “The View” is much more interested in catering to liberal rather than conservative viewers.

The show did not book a single right-leaning guest to talk politics between January and April, while having 63 liberal guests join them, according to Media Research Center numbers reported by Fox News.

President Trump was even more forward Thursday about what should be done with TV networks he said are mostly against him.

“I have read some place that the networks were 97% against me, again, 97% negative, and yet I won easily,” Trump said in reference to the 2024 presidential election.

“They give me only bad publicity or press. I mean, they’re getting a license,” he said to reporters on Air Force One on his return trip from the UK.

“I would think maybe their license should be taken away.”

“The MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said, though authorities have said the suspect appeared to be in tuned with leftist ideology.

The controversial comments led Carr to suggest the host and his network could face federal action, calling the comedian’s monologue “some of the sickest conduct possible.”

A group of ABC-affiliated stations also said it would not air the show due to Kimmel’s statement.

Soon after, ABC said it was pulling the show “indefinitely.”

The company has aired Kimmel’s show since 2003.
