Jessa Duggar shared the first photo of her family of eight after welcoming baby No. 6 with her husband, Ben Seewald.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, the former Counting On star took to Instagram with a pair of adorable family portraits.
“This past week was one to remember! @ben_seewald,” Jessa captioned her update.
For the featured image, the TLC alum posed while standing in the sand at a beach in Destin, Fla., with the water and blue sky as a stunning backdrop. Jessa held her newborn son, Edward, as Seewald held their second-youngest child, George, who turns 2 in December. Their four other kids—Spurgeon, 9, Henry, 8, Ivy, 6, and Fern, 4—stood in front of them.
A second shot showed the new family of eight from a bit further away as they smiled while posing together at the beach.
In the comments, Jessa’s followers practically swooned from cuteness overload. Many couldn’t help but discuss who their children looked like.
One Instagram user declared, “Ivy and Fern are LITERALLY mini you! 😂😂 And George being the only light blond haired baby 💙.”
Another shared, “The oldest 4 look just like her!!” as a second wrote, “Ivy looks 100% like your exact mini-me!”

Meanwhile, others seemed to have missed the memo that Jessa’s family recently grew.

Someone else wrote, “I didn’t know you had six kids?!?”
Another echoed, “Where did all them kids come from?! lol jk. I remember when you just started your family. Congrats. God is faithful.”
In early August, Jessa announced the birth of her sixth baby, writing via Instagram, “Edward Owen Seewald 10 lbs. 21 in. 07.26.25 We are so in love with this little guy! 🤍.”
The busy mom shared an update on Sept. 6, revealing that baby Edward was “15 lbs of cuteness! 🥰 .” She added, “We may or may not address this little guy as ‘Your Royal Fatness.’ 😏 Can’t believe it’s been nearly a month and a half since Edward joined our family! He is the happiest, smiliest baby and we can hardly remember what life was like before he was around. 🤍.”
