One man is dead, and two others were injured, after a shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Saturday night. The family of Robert DeCesare identified him as the man who was killed and provided a photo of him to NewsCenter 5. His name was confirmed by the AG’s office. “Hunter Nadeau (age 23) shot and killed Robert Steven DeCesare (age 59) with a handgun. There is no known connection between Hunter Nadeau and Mr. DeCesare. In the same incident in which Hunter Nadeau shot and killed Mr. DeCesare, Hunter Nadeau shot and wounded two other adults,” the AG’s office said.Hunter Nadeau has been charged with one count of second-degree murder.Nadeau is a former employee of the country club and had not worked at the business for a year, New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said in a press conference. Some people ran into the kitchen. A heavy police presence involving numerous agencies was seen in the area. Michael Homewood said he saw the shooter walk across the dance floor and into the kitchen.”He walked through the kitchen and went up to other guests and flipped them off and said various things and walked right out the back door of the kitchen,” Homewood said. Another wedding guest, Tom Bartelson, also said the shooter walked through the party and kitchen.”He said, ‘The children are safe.’ And, ‘Free Palestine,'” Bartelson said. Reporters asked Hinckley about the shooter’s possible motive.”We’re dealing with the facts and the information that we gather, and once we get the facts and information and have an actual motive we can actually share, we’ll certainly do that,” Hinckley said. Police in Nashua said they had earlier detained one suspect and were searching for a possible second suspect, causing emergency management officials to issue a shelter-in-place order for part of Dunstable, Massachusetts. “Video surveillance has confirmed there was only one shooter and they are currently being detained. The scene is still an active investigation but there is no further danger to the public,” Nashua police wrote.Nashua police instructed families of anyone who may have been at the country club to go to the Sheraton Hotel at 11 Tara Blvd., where a reunification site was established. Buses brought people from the country club to the hotel.Drivers who left a car in the country club parking lot may return to the area and should check in with an officer stationed in the parking lot to help find their car, the city of Nashua said in a statement.The Governor of New Hampshire, Kelly Ayotte, released a statement on the shooting: “Joe and I are praying for the victims and their families of the tragic shooting last night at Sky Meadow Country Club.
