SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced its weekly men’s basketball conference matchup schedule Friday. The conference will feature 12 programs playing 18 league games over 10 weeks, beginning Dec. 28 and concluding Feb. 28.

The Bulldogs will look for the program’s 27th conference title in 2025-26. GU has shared or won 22 conference championships in the last 25 years, along with 24 out of the last 28 years.

The WCC has adopted a new scheduling format for men’s basketball that includes conference games primarily contested on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and date flexibility with national television partners to provide more national exposure for the conference on additional days of the week. The 2025-26 schedule includes conference games on as many as five days in each week after the first three weeks.

Weekday games will be played on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays, and weekend games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. The conference matchup schedule of weekday and weekend games includes a select number of contests that have been assigned to specific dates for national broadcast opportunities.

The full schedule of game dates along with broadcast information will be announced later this fall, following the completion of national television selections with the conference’s partners, ESPN and CBS Sports Network.

Each of the 12 programs will play seven home-and-away series with two only-home opponents and two only-away opponents to make up the 18-game schedule.

For the fourth straight season, the Zags open West Coast Conference play against Pepperdine on Dec. 28, before visiting San Diego on Dec. 30.

Gonzaga returns home to host Seattle (Jan. 2), Loyola Marymount (Jan. 4), and Santa Clara (Jan. 8). The Bulldogs then head to Washington State on either Jan. 13, 14, or 15, and to new WCC member Seattle on Jan. 17 or 18.

The Zags close the first half of conference play at home against Pepperdine on either Jan. 20, 21, or 22, and then San Francisco on either Jan. 24 or 25.

On Jan. 31, GU and Saint Mary’s meet in Spokane. A trip to Oregon follows, for matchups at Portland (Feb. 3, 4, or 5) and at Oregon State (Feb. 7 or 8). The Bulldogs then host Washington State Feb. 10, 11, or 12.

Gonzaga travels to Santa Clara and San Francisco on Feb. 14 and 18. The Zags close the home schedule against Pacific (Feb. 21 or 22) and Portland (Feb. 24, 25, or 26). GU visits Saint Mary’s for the final regular season game on Feb. 28.

The 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship returns to Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the 18th consecutive year. The 12-team tournament will be held from March 5-10.
