Thanks to the efforts of all 3 doubles teams and a third place finish at #1 singles, the Sheridan boys tennis team won the State Tennis Championship, for only the second time in school history.
The other was in 1985.
Matt Brown and Eric Venn are state champs at boys #1 doubles, while Sam Wilcox and Christian Lamen won boys #3 doubles.
Aaron Lansing and Lawson Woodrow were state runners-up at boys #2 doubles, and Ben Bujans was 3rd at #1 singles.
For the Lady Broncs, Ella Bilyeu was 3rd at #1 singles, while Brittney Geissler and Gracie Hogan placed 4th at girls #2 doubles.
Cheyenne Central ran away with the girls crown, ahead of Kelly Walsh, Thunder Basin, Jackson and Sheridan.
