The Avalanche placed four skaters on waivers on Saturday, as the team continues to reduce its training camp roster.
Jason Polin, Alex Barre-Boulet, Tye Felhaber, and TJ Tynan were among a long list of waiver placements around the league. If they clear waivers by noon MT on Sunday, they’ll likely be sent to the AHL to join the Colorado Eagles.
Neither of the four will dress in Saturday’s preseason game.
The Avs roster currently sits at 48 players following three roster cuts on Friday. The cuts will likely be accelerated in the coming days, as the regular season opener is just 10 days away. Colorado hosts Dallas on Friday and Vegas on Tuesday before closing out the preseason with road games against each team later next week.
