Week 4 is officially in the books, and there’s a lot to digest.

Among the biggest storylines on Sunday was the first career start for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, who was announced as the New York Giants’ starter ahead of Week 4’s matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers, sending Russell Wilson to the bench. He and the Giants rallied to their first win of the 2025 season, defeating the previously undefeated Chargers 21-18 at MetLife Stadium.

Unfortunately, those celebrations were short-lived, as star wide receiver Malik Nabers was carted off with a knee injury. The Giants ruled him out of the game, confirming Monday that he sustained a torn ACL that will end his season.

That wasn’t the only devastating knee injury of the week, however. As the Jets visited the Dolphins on “Monday Night Football,” All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a gruesome knee injury that required hospitalization. It was initially reported that Hill dislocated his knee on the play, though follow-up reports on Tuesday morning indicate that he also suffered several torn ligaments, including a torn ACL.

Another big-time injury to monitor is that of two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, who exited Sunday’s blowout loss to the Chiefs with a hamstring injury in the third quarter. Head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Jackson wouldn’t have been able to return, even if the game was competitive. He declined to offer a prognosis or timeline for Jackson, telling reporters that an update would come later this week.

The Ravens are currently decimated by injuries to their defense, including those to star defensive tackle Justin Madubuike (neck/out for season), linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring), Roquan Smith (hamstring) and cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (calf) and Nate Wiggins (elbow); the potential extended loss of Jackson could be a huge blow for a team that’s already started out 1-3.

Among the coaches on “hot seat watch” are Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan, whose team has officially started off 0-4 with rookie quarterback Cam Ward starting, along with the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets, who will all be seeking their first wins in Week 5.
