CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 1, 2025) – The Jimmie Johnson Foundation (JJF) hosted its 16th annual golf tournament on Sept. 29 in Charlotte, N.C. The sold-out crowd played the course at the prestigious Quail Hollow Club, home to one of the PGA Tour’s Signature Championship events.  As a result, Jimmie and Chandra Johnson announced today the event raised more than $425,000.

The day kicked off with a welcome greeting from Johnson who addressed the golfers with gratitude, followed by a testimonial from Elijah Watson, who talked about the impact a 2020 Champions Grant made to Charlotte-based Ranson Middle School. “The JJF Golf Tournament was a great success and I’m thankful for everyone who came out to support the Jimmie Johnson Foundation,” said Johnson. “We could not have done this without our incredible partners Dollar Tree, Mark and Cynthia Mitchell, Pye-Barker, Lincoln Property Company, Hendrick Automotive Group, as well as the generosity of dozens of individuals and companies. This event means so much to the JJF knowing our efforts will directly impact schools and communities in need.”
