Injuries have been a big topic of discussion recently as several players struggle with physical problems.
British star Jack Draper played his final match of 2025 at the US Open in August, before announcing he was finishing his season early due to injury.
He’s not the only player to have done this, as Paula Badosa brought her 2025 campaign to a close following her latest injury retirement in Beijing.

Another ATP star recently shared an injury update, revealing his plans to return to the court in 2026, having dealt with several issues throughout the year.
The former Grand Slam semifinalist is hoping to return with a bang in the new year and add to his tally of eight titles.
Hubert Hurkacz says everything is looking positive ahead of his return from injury in 2026
Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz last played a match on June 11, in the first round of the Libema Open on grass.
He then withdrew ahead of his second-round match and hasn’t been seen on court since, as injuries got the better of him.
Taking to social media, Hurkacz updated fans on his injury status recently.
“Dear All, I would like to thank you very much for all the messages, support, and kind words I receive from you. This is extremely important to me and gives me a lot of energy,” he said.
“I feel good, everything is going as it should, and looks really positive. Every day I work with my team in the gym, on the court, and with physiotherapists.
“At the same time, I know that in order to return to tournaments and compete at the highest level, I need to be prepared 110%.
“That is why the best decision is to start in the next season – fully ready to fight.

Hurkacz enjoyed his best tournament of the season at the Geneva Open, where he lost to Serbia’s Novak Djokovic in a thrilling final.
After the match, Djokovic wished Hurkacz the best for the future, having made a quick return from injury.
“Congrats to your team as well. I know how it feels to be injured, it’s a big challenge to come back. You’ve managed to cut your comeback short, and reach already a very high level. I wish you all the best in Paris and London,” he said.
Unfortunately for Hurkacz, he lost in the first round of the French Open and missed the chance to play at Wimbledon due to injury.
Only time will tell if he can enjoy a better season in 2026, as he searches for ATP title number nine.
