SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Local author Kat Medina is launching her latest book, and her first children’s book, Grumple the Great, at Cuppa Tahoe on Sunday, October 5, at 3:30 p.m. This is a free event that will include a reading, singing, and a kids’ coloring activity.

The book is a surprisingly silly tale of kindness set in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Join Grumple, your not-so-average bear, on his journey to become the best in all the woods. Through a series of silly misadventures, Grumple discovers that being the best isn’t always about being the greatest, the fastest, the busiest, or even the stinkiest, but rather, the kindest.

Find out how this bear fares as he attempts to make a bigger-than-big impact on the woods around him in this terrific tale of kindness.

Cuppa Tahoe is located at Cuppa Tahoe, 2054 Lake Tahoe Blvd. South Lake Tahoe.

After the book reading, there will be a special event at Slime Kitchen Tahoe, located in the Crossing near Cuppa Tahoe. Those purchasing a book from Kat on Sunday will receive a discount voucher.
