An autopsy confirmed he died from a stab wound to the chest that perforated his heart.

The attorney general’s office said Li, Marquez Vera, and 18-year-old Ayaan Nisaar also face charges of robbery and attempted burglary.

Marquez Vera was taken into custody in Madrid, Spain, while Nisaar and Li were arrested in Queens, New York, investigators said.

“One of the individuals who was arrested, Mr. Marquez Vera, traveled to Spain shortly after this incident and he was arrested by Spanish authorities and is currently detained in Spain,” said Alex Kellermann, assistant attorney general. “He is awaiting to the United States to face these charges.”
