Kim Kardashian is sharing how much she loves her daughter North’s unique style
The mom of four explained that she particularly enjoys seeing how much her daughter knows herself

Kim Kardashian loves that her daughter North knows exactly who she is.
The SKIMS co-founder, 44, appeared in a new TikTok video with Complex Style and was asked about her 12-year-old daughter North’s unique style. Kardashian responded that North has taught her a lot over the years and said she’s happy to see her know herself so distinctly.
“She teaches me a lot. So she has a really unique style. She puts me on to so many brands, like she just loves what she loves,” the mom of four said. “And it’s just really fun to see someone be so creative. And also know herself so much.”

Kardashian went on to say that North had tried out a different aesthetic at one point, but knew immediately that it was not for her.
“All of her friends were getting really girly outfits, and she tried it with me once. And she wore something that was really girly,” the proud mom remembered. “And she was like, ‘Whoa, wait, this isn’t me. I just get that I love dressing a little bit more tomboy-ish.’ And she loves her T-shirts and her jerseys and her jorts.”
“She tried it for a good week, to be like, girly or wear what the kids, you know, her friends were wearing. And then she realized quick, like, ‘This isn’t me,’ and I love that for her.”
This past August, North showed off her bold fashion sense when she arrived for her first Venice Film Festival alongside Kardashian.
The pre-teen wore a gray and white pinstriped dress with a black lace lining. The garment was adorned with giant safety pins, which held the dress together. North paired the dress with black chunky boots and had her electric blue hair tied back in ponytails for the event.
She added a white parasol and black socks with spikes to complete the look. Meanwhile, Kardashian wore a long black dress with heels and black sunglasses.
Earlier in June, Kardashian shared several unseen photos on Instagram taken throughout North’s childhood as she celebrated her 12th birthday.
The mom of four first shared images of herself kissing North’s cheek as a baby, as well as a playful snap of her daughter as a toddler. The cute selection of photos also included a tiny North experimenting with musical instruments, sleeping and holding a toy microphone.
“My little baby North turns 12 years old today,” Kardashian wrote in her caption. “We were looking at pics today together and laughing so hard, you were so small.”
She added, “It’s been the most special calling being your mom. I love you forever and got you forever my bubs.”
