CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the initial round of presenters and performers for the 40th annual induction ceremony happening at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 8.

Notable names confirmed to come out and celebrate the 2025 class include previous inductees Elton John, Iggy Pop, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Missy Elliot. Also presenting or performing will be Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims and Columbus’s own Twenty One Pilots.

This year’s inductees include Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes in the Performer category. Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will be honored for Musical Influence. Producer Thom Bell and musicians Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye will be recognized in the Musical Excellence category. Record executive Lenny Waronker will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

The ceremony again will be streamed live on Disney+ at 8 p.m. and will be immediately available for viewing following the event. ABC also will air a performance and standout moments highlights special in primetime at 8 p.m. on Jan. 1, which will be available the following day on Hulu.

The Rock Hall will open the 2025 inductee exhibit on Friday, Oct. 31, featuring an array of artifacts including handwritten lyrics to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” the outfits worn by Meg and Jack White of The White Stripes’ on the “Icky Thump” album cover, a 1979 Gibson Les Paul electric guitar played by Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell and clothing worn by Outkast members, including Andre 3000’s outfit from the “Hey Ya” music video.
