COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Maryland women’s basketball team will host an Open Practice for fans on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the XFINITY Center. All fans are encouraged to RSVP HERE.

Doors open at 1 p.m. and parking will be open in lots 9B, 4B and 11B.

Head coach Brenda Frese will be mic’d up as the team scrimmages and fans will take part in a post-practice Q&A with the team.

Maryland was predicted to finish No. 2 in the Big Ten, behind just UCLA. Seniors Yarden Garzon and Kaylene Smikle were named to the All-Big Ten Preseason Team. Maryland returns All-Big Ten honoree Bri McDaniel and starter Saylor Poffenbarger. Head coach Brenda Frese and her staff signed two transfers in Garzon and 2025 ACC Tournament Most Outstanding Player Oluchi Okananwa (Duke). The Terrapins also welcome freshmen Lea BartelmeAddi MackRainey WelsonNicole Fritea and Marya Boiko to the roster.
